AI-Native Future State
Stop asking where AI can help with this workflow. Ask instead: if we built this from scratch knowing what AI can do, how would we design it?
The first question finds 2× improvement opportunities. The second finds 7×. The difference is not the technology — the same AI tools are available either way. The difference is the question. Bolt-on automation improves the existing workflow. AI-native design eliminates it or rebuilds it from zero.
This blueprint is BPR Step 4 with AI as the redesign lens. It must be completed after the Constraint Map (which workflows to attack) and Context Architecture (what the AI system needs), and before any build begins. Step 4 has one rule: ignore how it is done today. Designers who anchor to the current state replicate its failures at higher cost.

Design rules:
- Human steps must involve judgment that AI cannot replicate at the required quality level
- AI steps must have defined success criteria (from Business Logic Document)
- System steps are deterministic — no ambiguity, no judgment required
- Every handoff must be justified — each one is a latency and error surface
