Skills Matrix — Flows × Skills

Every flow needs three things working together: a gauge (one metric), an AI capability that operates the flow, and a crypto-rail instrument that settles or attests. The matrix below maps each flow to the skills that ship it today, the skills that exist but lack crypto-rail awareness, and the cells that are green-field.

The matrix is the seed catalogue for an "elite skills system for running businesses using AI on crypto rails" — every 🔴 cell is a candidate spec.

Reading the Matrix​

Three patterns to watch:

  1. Heavy ✅ in Flow 5 (finance), heavy 🔴 in Flows 2/3/6 — the existing skills library has gravitated toward finance. The biggest skill gaps are in procurement (Flow 3) and people (Flow 6) — exactly where AI + crypto rails would compound fastest because both flows involve repeated, structured, multi-party transactions.

  2. Almost zero crypto-rail wiring outside Flow 5 — only gl-recon and agent-persona explicitly touch crypto. The bridge between business operations and crypto rails is the largest single green-field area. This is the headline gap.

  3. The meta-flow (Flow 7) has more shipped skills than people would guess — receipts, predictions, freshness checks, consumption. The infrastructure for self-correction is mostly there. What's missing is the cross-flow composite that joins it all.

What This Matrix Becomes Next​

This page is the demand surface for an elite-skills system. Each 🔴 cell is a candidate for the engineering blueprint that ships in the next cycle. The blueprint (Phase D of the case at .FLOW/02-refine/2026-05-25-7-flows-business/) names which 🔴 cells become P-NNN specs, the agent owner per composite, and the receipt extensions needed.

For now, the matrix has the same job a P&ID has on day one of a refinery design: it makes every gap addressable by name.
