Tools for an AI-native business

These are the tools we use to run an AI-native business, grouped by the job they do, each with a source note behind it.

Build and change software with agents

  • Git, GitHub and Cursor let us track code and delegate changes to agents on separate branches while GitHub keeps repository and merge control.
  • pnpm and Nx manage our packages and project tasks with reproducible installs, dependency-based task selection and local caching.
  • TypeScript checks compatibility across our applications and libraries before runtime through explicit package types.
  • Zod validates our untrusted requests and configuration at runtime, catching invalid data that TypeScript alone cannot check.

Prove it works

  • Vitest and Playwright test our code and browser journeys so we can use focused code tests unless the behavior needs a real browser.
  • Agent Browser lets our agents check websites through compact snapshots and element references instead of large page trees or screenshots. npm install -g agent-browser
  • Nx-affected CI on GitHub Actions selects checks for our changed projects and their consumers using the dependency graph rather than maintained folder lists.

Run the product

  • Next.js and React run our web routes and component rendering while keeping reusable business logic separate from the web framework.
  • Tailwind CSS and Radix give our interfaces responsive styling and accessible interaction primitives without taking over product behavior.
  • TanStack Form coordinates our form fields and submissions while keeping validation and server results separate from client-side interaction.
  • NestJS hosts our dedicated APIs with controllers and modules that keep request handling separate from business logic.
  • PostgreSQL and Drizzle store our relational data and provide typed queries and mappings without tying business logic to database records.
  • Better Auth handles our self-hosted email and password sign-in with PostgreSQL persistence while keeping access policy separate.
  • UploadThing handles our browser file transfers and storage mechanics while our application controls permissions and accepted files.
  • Vercel deploys our web applications with support for Nx-based build selection so unrelated changes can skip a build.

Add AI to the product

  • Vercel AI SDK handles our model calls and streaming through provider adapters so we can change providers without rewriting business logic.

Get paid and keep in touch

  • Stripe executes our payments through a separate integration so orders and fulfilment do not depend on Stripe's data model.
  • Resend delivers our transactional email while keeping message content, consent and sending decisions independent of the delivery provider.

Protect public endpoints

  • Upstash Redis and Ratelimit limit public-enquiry requests before database access with a shared endpoint budget and rejection when the limiter is unavailable.

Work onchain

  • Sui supports our main chain integration with Move contracts and explicit transaction construction, keeping signing separate from business intent.
  • Solana supports our additional chain integration through SDK and wallet adapters that keep chain-specific objects out of business contracts.

Be readable by people and agents

  • Docusaurus renders our public guides with stable routes and React extension points as part of a documentation system for people and agents.
  • Is Agentic checks our public site's barriers to agent use with free reports that include observed issues and suggested fixes. npx is-agentic <your-domain>
