Marketing Processes

Which of the eight marketing jobs owns the outcome you are trying to change?

The process view defines eight canonical JTBDs. Each stable capability ID relates its process page to the other four marketing views without changing the public route. A supporting page inherits one ID; it does not create a ninth job.

Changes my mind: Operating evidence reveals a distinct marketing outcome that cannot be composed under any of these eight jobs.

If your problem is coordination rather than choosing one job, use GTM Distribution to move from one audience and channel wedge through response and learning without creating another capability identity.

Questions

Next question: Which capability ID has evidence of a repeatable loop rather than only a documented process?

  • Which supporting page lacks one clear primary capability?
  • Which job lacks a current performance observation?
