Can an authorised agent understand the offer, its evidence, price, limits, and next action without guessing?

Agent-readable conversion translates stable offer truth into a supported machine-readable description and bounded action path. The selected format, discovery location, interface, and checkout protocol must come from current primary specifications and tests with the intended client.

Job contract

  • Valuable outcome: an authorised agent can discover, understand, verify, and complete the intended action or hand off safely to a human.
  • Trigger and inputs: a stable offer, capability and price truth, consent rules, proof, transaction boundary, and human escalation route.
  • Required business skills: offer design, information architecture, service design, risk judgment, and conversion analysis.
  • Tool categories and selection: use structured-data validators, protocol clients, synthetic journeys, accessibility checks, and analytics that test the whole path without weakening consent.
  • Concrete outputs: machine-readable offer, action contract, supported interface where needed, safe handoff, and test receipt.
  • Human edge and safe AI: humans approve offer truth, permissions, spend, and escalation. AI may generate structured representations and run bounded tests; it cannot grant itself authority or complete an unapproved action.
  • Proof, cadence, and kill signals: a cold authorised client completes or correctly hands off the path. Retest after every contract or offer change. Stop when machine and human claims disagree, permissions are ambiguous, or failure can create an irreversible commitment.

Practice

Give a clean client only the public discovery entry. Ask it to identify the offer, evidence, price, permission required, failure behaviour, and escalation route. Permit a sandboxed reversible action or handoff. Record every ambiguity before exposing a consequential action.

Failure modes

A machine description that differs from the human offer creates false consent. A callable interface without authority checks turns access into risk. A failed action without a safe handoff strands the buyer.
