Choose the business job that is blocking value

These seven workflow families are a candidate orientation model, not a claim that every business has the same priorities. Start with the beneficiary outcome and the point where value stops moving. Each destination teaches one bounded job and returns evidence to its contextual owner; this hub does not own those methods or their proof.

Routes

  • Qualify a leadCustomer Intent & Demand: decide whether a received customer signal deserves the next conversation.
  • Secure buyer commitmentOrder-to-Cash: obtain a voluntary yes, explicit no, or dated next step.
  • Secure a supply inputProcure-to-Pay & Supply: confirm a required input at the promised time and cost.
  • Deliver promised workOperational Execution: complete one promise to its acceptance condition.
  • Reconcile financial positionFinancial Performance: establish the cash, cost, margin, or liability position a decision needs.
  • Authorise bounded workPeople, Capability & Governance: give a person or agent responsibility, permissions, stop, and recovery for one job.
  • Compare outcome and correct methodAnalytics & Feedback: compare prediction with consequence and choose whether to change, continue, or stop.

Choose by the broken handoff

Name what was promised, to whom, what arrived, who owns the next step, and how acceptance is recognised. Then select the smallest job above. Missing receipt belongs before qualification; unclear consent belongs in commitment; unavailable capacity belongs in supply; rejected work belongs in delivery; disputed numbers belong in reconciliation; unclear permission belongs in authorisation; and an unexplained consequence belongs in outcome review.

Each page names its beneficiary, trigger, authority, inputs, action sequence, output, evidence, stop condition, and return path. A documented candidate is not proof that the method transfers, improves a beneficiary outcome, or is safe to automate. Keep unknowns visible and let the accountable human decide.

Continue to bound the action once the job and authority are clear. Then review the evidence before retaining or expanding the method.
