Control Loops
Which loop will keep purpose, perception, attention, and impact connected?
A control loop turns good intentions into a reality-tested course correction. It uses the three Navigation Systems in order:
VALUE → choose the good and its virtuous performance setpoint
BELIEF → map how things are and predict how they may change
CONTROL → focus attention where a bounded collision can create positive impact

act → observe → learn → correct
Feedback is the return signal inside the loop. Control is the whole steering job: decide what the signal means, which lever deserves attention, who may act, and when evidence should change the course.
The Spine

Which part of the current loop is least trustworthy: the good intention, the model of reality and change, or the intervention receiving attention?

- Which belief must be wrong if the expected change does not appear?
- What will stop this loop before avoidable waste compounds?
Changes my mind: readers diagnose and correct a live loop more reliably when “feedback loops” remains the family name, or when “control loops” causes them to ignore emergence, learning, or beneficiary authority.
