Growth Mindset

People with a growth mindset take extra effort to pass on knowledge because they believe in a bigger purpose and understand the benefit to the big picture.

People with a growth mindset will do extra when completing a job to make the job a bit easier to do next time round to help maintain flow.

It is easy to tell if someone has a growth mindset and worth taking the time to nurture them to uncover their potential strengths.

The Opposite

Other people will just complete a job to plug a gap and collect a pay check. That speaks volumes to the fact they don't really believe in the purpose of the organisation or value their workmates.

Others out of fear and or selfishness, attempt to build a fiefdom of importance to gain extra security and income.

Both types might be talented but you should only use them as contractors with very tight specfications on delivery expectations.
